The Beauty of Questions Part II

This knowledge all comes from Eric Pepin of the Higher Balance Institute. The brilliance is all his. Any mistakes are purely mine.

What is prana?

Energy is all around us and is woven into the fabric of this dimension. You could say that is part of God streaming down from a higher dimension to this dimension.

Prana is energy. But we use the word prana, we are usually describing a specific kind of energy. Like banana is a type of fruit. Prana is a type of energy.

Prana is energy that does not have any programming, any intention. If I sent healing energy to my daughter to heal her, it is the same energy as prana. But now it comes from me, not God. It has a program, an intention, to heal. When we meditate, we collect the prana around us. When we heal, we send out energy with a program.

How do we gather prana when we use the Foundation meditation technique?

We can only attract prana when we think about prana because God is so afraid of hurting us, that he will not approach with his energy, with prana, unless he is invited.

Why would we be hurt by God’s prana?

Until we have trained our bodies to accept that much prana, it would be overwhelming, too intense.

Because our bodies do not know any better, they would resist. And our resistance would cause damage, either physical damage or energetic body damage.

There are many stories of people being injured, either their physical body or their energy body, from Kundalini energy surges.

The first time I meditated with a group of people from Higher Balance, it was so intense I wanted to run from the room screaming. I didn’t, but I did have to put up a shield to block out the energy of the other people in the room.

Are there other methods to gather prana?

Yes, there are other methods to attract prana. We attract prana when we sleep.

We also attract prana whenever we think about prana, not just during meditation. The problem is we always forget to think about prana during the day, Eric calls this “falling asleep”. Many things cause us to “fall asleep” and not think about prana. Even blinking our eyes causes us to fall asleep.

When people talk to us and we respond, we fall asleep.

I use triggers to keep myself aware of prana. And I frequently change triggers. Things I have used include: when I see a green plant, think about prana. When I see a blue shirt, think about prana…

A mistake people make is thinking about prana during your meditation. Just think about prana at the beginning, of the mediation, when guided to. For the rest of the meditation, think only about the touch. Or the sensation of the touch when you move your hand away.

Prana can also be gathered by imagining prana in your water, when you pour it into a glass. And when you imagine prana while drinking that water, you can attract great amounts. There is a Higher Balance mediation called The Water of Life that has that uses this technique. This technique can really boost your accumulation and awareness of prana.

Another technique is to swim with non-thought in a lake, somewhere in nature, with very pure water. If you stay in the water for around 45 minutes, you can really notice it.

And the most important way to have more prana is to use less prana. I will answer how to do this in the future.

You say when we have babbler, the flow of prana ceases. So should I think about prana again and start to practice non-thought whenever there is a babbler?

No, you don’t have to think about prana again during mediation. You just have to go back to non-thought and focus on the touch. Because you already set an intention at the beginning of the mediation. Your intention was to collect prana. That is what is happening when Eric guides you to visualize the prana in the room…

When you set the intention, it’s like filling a siphon. Once you start the flow by setting the intention, the prana will continue to flow to you, as long as you have non-thought. If you fall out of non-thought, the siphon is pinched, but not emptied. Just go back to non-thought to un-pinch the siphon and restart the collection of prana.

Yes, if you were doing something else, like going for a walk and collecting prana. Because walking does not set an intention to collect prana. Walking has another intention, to get somewhere, exercise, etc.

Is the amount of prana attracted during sleep is less compared to the amount we get in meditation? If so why?

Meditation attracts more prana because you have an intention of collecting prana during the mediation. Intention (or thought) is tool that affects prana or energy. During sleep you don’t have the focus to maintain an intention.
