Two years ago, my wife and I used to hear crying babies several nights a week for most of the spring and summer after we started working with Higher Balance. We thought of several possibilities but nothing ever fit exactly right. Eric Pepin teaches us to come up with three possible explanations before trying to figure something out.

The timeline basically progressed like this. My wife and I adopted a daughter from China in the fall and right after we got home, I found Higher Balance and started working with their material. My wife also started working with Higher Balance a month or two after I did.

By the next spring we started hearing crying babies at night, when my daughter was asleep. We would always get up and check on our daughter, but she was always soundly asleep. At the beginning, we would search the house for the source of the noise. Sometimes only my wife would here them, but usually we would both hear them.

The noise was sometimes faint, sometimes loud. It sounded like a chorus of babies, all crying in pain. The sound initially was very faint, but after several months, it would occasionally be almost deafening. It happened sporadically at first, but eventually was happening three or four times per week. Lasting from an hour or two to the entire night. By the end of the next summer the frequency started to die down and eventually stopped.

The sound had a surreal quality to it, like it might not be from this dimension. The sound was also unique, because turning my head or moving to a different location in the house did not affect the volume. In fact, putting ear plugs in did not change the volume.

We considered whether entities (energy beings) were visiting us. But surely they would get bored after a few hours or days and not stay for many months. We wondered about tuning into part of the Gaia consciousness. Some people talk about the beautiful music that sounds like an orchestra and chorus of angels that comes from the Gaia consciousness.

I have never found an explanation that fit all the clues until yesterday. My friend suggested that we were tuning into the grieving process of my daughter, on an energetic level. At night, when she was downloading her daily experiences and emotions into the Gaia consciousness, we were tuning into the broadcast. It was not so outwardly apparent that our daughter was grieving because she was only one year old and she seemed to be bonding with us. Our brains interpreted this energetic broadcast as crying babies. We didn’t hear it at the beginning, because we were to new to meditating and to psychic work. And then as our daughter bonded with us on a deeper level, the grieving subsided and that broadcast went away.
